About the Role
As a Teen Center Coordinator, you will be responsible for running and scheduling all aspects of assigned programs, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, ensuring participant registration and safety, maintaining positive rapport with participants and parents, and representing the YMCA in community groups. You will also conduct programs according to YMCA standards, promote core values, gather participant feedback, and supervise employees while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in staff supervision.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in programming/program growth, particularly in youth-oriented programming and sports.
- CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a changing environment.
