About the Role
As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, operations, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment. Your daily tasks will include testing, commissioning, and fault isolation of circuit orders, as well as tracking and analyzing faults using proprietary tools. You will work closely with the Network Management Center to ensure service restoration and perform post-event analysis to prevent service-affecting issues.
About You
Required:
- Relevant experience with telecommunications service providers or major equipment vendors.
- Working knowledge of SDH/DWDM multiplexers and testers.
- Knowledge of copper, UTP, and fiber cables handling and testing.
- Basic hands-on experience with routers and switches.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
