About the Role
As a Telemetry Technician/Unit Secretary, you will be responsible for continuously observing monitors, ensuring timely responses to alarms, and completing EKG interpretations. You will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to critically ill patients during their recovery process.
About You
Required:
- Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs and required competencies within 30 days of start date.
- Ability to verify correct identification of basic rhythms and respond to alarms appropriately.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
