About the Role
As a Teller, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relations, assisting customers from start to finish, interviewing customers to obtain information, and proactively selling bank products and services. You will also open new accounts, discuss and close consumer loans, solve branch operations matters, and mentor/train incoming tellers.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED with one to three weeks training and at least one year of equivalent experience.
- Customer service, cash handling, and banking experience preferred.
Preferred:
- Attentiveness to detail.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- General math skills.
- Knowledge of Jack Henry suite of programs including Xperience and Synapsys.
- Familiarity with TCR, PTM, and coin machine.
