About the Role
As a Temperature Controls Technician I, you will be responsible for testing various functions of building automation systems, interpreting system blueprints, and ensuring compliance with specifications. You will use specialized tools to test performance, dismantle malfunctioning systems, and connect various components to control panels. Additionally, you will observe gauges, adjust controls for efficient operation, and may provide guidance and training to other maintenance personnel.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Four years progressively responsible experience in the temperature controls trade.
- General knowledge of temperature control systems and practices used in installation, repair, and maintenance.
Preferred:
- Experience in a higher education setting.
- Familiarity with Automated Logic.
- General knowledge of HVAC systems including heating, cooling, boilers, chillers, and air handling units.
