About the Role
As a Temporary Counselor, you will be responsible for offering individual and group counseling services, conducting assessments, establishing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patient progress. You will utilize evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach to help patients develop coping techniques and improve their quality of life.
About You
Required:
- CADC or 2 years to obtain certification while supervised.
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
- Understanding of an EMR system (electronic medical records).
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Preferred:
- Demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward patients.
