ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Temporary Environmental Civil Construction Specialist to work with Dominion Energy on Construction Projects in Springfield, VA. The role involves ensuring environmental compliance during land clearing and construction projects.
About the Role
As a Temporary Environmental Civil Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting construction drawings, providing field technical support, managing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and ensuring compliance with various permits. You will also communicate with clients, contractors, and the public while promoting safety and quality in all operations.
About You
Required:
- Prior experience working in utility site work construction including site preparation for electric transmission substations or gas pipeline infrastructure.
- Ability to regularly travel overnight during the work week.
- Strong public relation skills and ability to interface with the public.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector Certification with DEQ.
- Previous construction crew oversight experience.
- GIS Experience.
- Bi-Lingual speaking (English and Spanish).
