Summary
Seattle Public Utilities is seeking a TERM LIMITED TEMPORARY (TLT) Public Records Project Specialist (P&D Spec II) to join their Risk and Quality Assurance division in Seattle, WA. The role involves supporting special projects in public records disclosure work and document control.
About the Role
As a Public Records Project Specialist, you will assist in public records and disclosure work, document and revise rules and processes, support analysis and remediation of policy documents, plan and coordinate electronic records management projects, analyze and respond to public disclosure requests, and provide project support as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Urban Design, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in planning and research related to land use, urban economics, human services, environmental issues, or conservation.
Preferred:
- Experience in public records management, public engagement, or paralegal work.
- Experience in document management, formatting, electronic signatures, and web content.
- Intermediate to advanced writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Word and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Sign, and SharePoint.
- Proven self-starter and multitasker.
- Excellent customer service.
