Summary
LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a part-time Terminal Air Traffic Control (ATC) Specialist to support the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) adaptation in Atlantic City, NJ.
About the Role
As a Terminal Air Traffic Control (ATC) Specialist, you will assist with scenario development, test procedure creation, dry runs, test execution, and reporting for the STARS adaptation. Your responsibilities will include processing weather data, analyzing precipitation output, coordinating with technical teams, and generating detailed test reports.
About You
Required:
- FAA Terminal ATC experience.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Terminal Air Traffic Control (ATC).
- Hands-on experience with STARS adaptation and testing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute test procedures.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of TPoG applications and weather data processing.
- Familiarity with National Weather Processor (NWP) and Common Support Services for Weather (CSS-Wx) precipitation output.
