Summary
IPG is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join their team remotely, covering the Southeast US. The role involves managing existing customer relationships and developing new business to increase sales in the assigned territory.
About the Role
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will ensure effective sales coverage for the territory, prepare annual revenue and expense budgets, support marketing and product development, recommend account support programs, submit monthly forecasts, and work closely with the Director of Sales. You will also focus on growing sales revenue on Lumber Wrap products and developing specific market segments within the region.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record.
- Excellent knowledge of the lumber market including lumber wrap, saw blades, and lumber mills.
- Competency with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment with a strong customer service orientation.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in strategic and sales planning.
- Ability to develop and execute a market strategy over a 1-3 year time span.
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
