About the Role
As a Testing & Development Rotational Intern, you will work with a small team of design engineers, test engineers, and test technicians. Your responsibilities will include supporting laboratory and in-field testing projects, utilizing CAD and PLM tools for test fixture design, and applying engineering knowledge to solve real-world problems. You will gain hands-on experience in testing, analysis, and development across a variety of products.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Materials Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Automotive Engineering.
- Good working knowledge of Windows-based computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to use CAD software (NX, Creo, Catia, SolidWorks) and PLM tools (Windchill, Teamcenter).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Participation in SAE International collegiate design competitions.
- Mechanical skills including the ability to use common hand tools.
- Basic knowledge of data acquisition and instrumentation equipment.
- Experience in skilled trades such as fabrication, machining, and welding.
