About the Role
As a Therapeutic Activities Worker, you will monitor and report on inmates' progress toward achieving therapeutic recreation goals, contribute to the planning and implementation of therapeutic programs, conduct assessments to create personalized objectives, lead recreation programs, provide instruction and support, evaluate program effectiveness, and participate in crisis intervention.
About You
Required:
- Four years of experience providing therapeutic activities for individuals with physical, medical, or cognitive disabilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, physical education, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Preferred:
- Experience in crisis intervention and resolution.
- Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and practices.
