About the Role
As a Therapist Radiation PRN, you will be responsible for evaluating imaging requests, documenting treatment information, performing quality assurance on treatment units, and assisting in maintaining department supplies. You will also provide supervised education experiences for students, participate in after-hours on-call coverage, and ensure accurate treatment of patients by verifying prescriptions and treatment parameters. The role requires effective communication with patients and the ability to handle stressful situations.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Technical/Vocational School graduate.
- Certified Radiologic Technologists (CRT) or Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)ARRT).
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS).
Preferred:
- 1+ years of radiation therapy experience.
