About the Role
As a Thermal R&D Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to develop thermal models and analyses, perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, and correlate lab test data. Your responsibilities will include providing design guidance, conducting feasibility experiments, and building technical relationships with customers' engineering teams.
About You
Required:
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in CFD simulation and thermal analysis.
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermal dynamics, and thermal management of electronics.
Preferred:
- Experience with direct liquid cooling.
- Familiarity with commercial CFD tools, including ANSYS Icepak and/or similar software.
- Proficient in mechanical design and 3D modeling using PTC Creo and/or SolidWorks.
