Summary
Jobot is seeking a Tool Maker to join their team in Thorofare, NJ. The role involves building, repairing, and maintaining precision tooling used in production manufacturing.
About the Role
As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for building, modifying, and repairing precision tooling, dies, fixtures, jigs, and gauges to support production operations. Your daily tasks will include interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings, setting up and operating manual and CNC machines, performing precision measurements, troubleshooting tooling issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve tool design and functionality.
About You
Required:
- Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Strong background in manual machining and CNC machining.
- Experience working to tight tolerances (.0005” or better).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes, and material properties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
