About the Role
As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will monitor and ensure compliance with national and international trade laws, assign accurate tariff classifications, serve as the point of contact with government agencies, develop internal policies, and collaborate with customs brokers and suppliers for compliant shipment clearance.
About You
Required:
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export laws, export controls, sanctions, customs regulations, and free trade agreements.
- Analytical skills to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
- Product classification expertise using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs).
- Certified Trade Compliance Specialist/Customs Broker License.
