Summary
Lightcurve Internet is seeking a Training Specialist to join their team in Tacoma, WA. The role involves developing and leading a comprehensive onboarding and continuous learning framework for new employees.
About the Role
As a Training Specialist, you will design and deliver structured training programs tailored to various roles within Lightcurve’s sales and support teams. You will create and maintain training materials, establish a consistent training agenda, lead ongoing training efforts, and collaborate with IT to implement a centralized knowledge base. Your responsibilities also include tracking training effectiveness and staying current with industry trends.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or operations support, ideally in a broadband, telecom, or technical services environment.
- Telecom & broadband industry experience and knowledge.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, and instructional content.
- Familiarity with knowledge management systems (e.g., Confluence, Notion, Guru, or SharePoint).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with IT, customer service, and technical teams.
- Willingness to travel to all office locations to conduct in-person training when necessary.

- Self-starter with a builder mindset – enjoys creating structure where none exists.
- Passionate about enabling others to succeed through well-designed training and accessible knowledge.
- Comfortable navigating both the strategic and tactical elements of training program development.
