About the Role

As a Transcription Assistant, you will be responsible for typing and preparing correspondence, records, and reports. You will facilitate the accurate completion of patient medical records, track documentation deficiencies, handle correspondence for assigned physicians, and maintain office files and equipment. You will also support compliance with the Cancer Care Northwest Compliance Program.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred:

Associate's Degree or some college-level education.
Previous medical office experience.
Previous transcription experience.
Courses in anatomy and physiology, disease processes, and basic pharmacology.
