About the Role
As a Transit Maintenance Painter, you will be responsible for tasks such as graffiti removal, sandblasting, applying protective coatings, drywall finishing, and pavement striping. You will work on various structures and surfaces, ensuring they are well-maintained and visually appealing. This position may fill up to three Term-Limited Temporary positions with an anticipated duration through December 2027.
About You
Required:
- Three or more years of work experience performing journey-level industrial and/or commercial painting duties.
- Demonstrated ability to perform brush, spray, and roller painting and to correctly apply various types of paints.
Preferred:
- Five or more years of work experience performing journey-level industrial and/or commercial painting duties.
- Completion of a painter apprenticeship program and/or vocational training program related to the trade.
