About the Role
As a Transmission Line Engineer 3 - Grid, you will be responsible for designing transmission lines, performing structural analysis, conducting foundation designs, and developing cost estimates. You will also model transmission lines using PLS-CADD, determine right of way requirements, and review vendor submittals. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days in the office and two days remote.
About You
Required:
- Degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- 3 or more years of experience in transmission line engineering.
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Proficiency with programs such as PLS-TOWER, SAG10, LPILE, AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with design codes and standards like NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE.
