About the Role
About You
- A B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- 5+ years of transmission line engineering experience in the utility industry.
- A P.E. license (or the ability to obtain one in the required timeframe).
- Strong technical skills in plan & profile drawings, structure loading & analysis, sag-tension & conductor clearance analysis, foundation design, route selection, and permitting.
- Experience designing 69kV–500kV transmission lines.
- Familiarity with renewable energy integration or grid modernization.
- Hands-on expertise with Power Line Systems (PLS) tools.
