Quality Engineering Solutions, Inc. (QES) is seeking all levels of Transportation Construction Inspectors to join their team in Lancaster County, PA. The role involves performing technical inspections to ensure quality construction of roadway, highway, and bridge projects.
About the Role
As a Transportation Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and documenting construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Your duties will include quality assurance monitoring for materials testing, completing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with highway occupancy permits and erosion controls. You will collaborate with project engineers and managers to receive instructions and assignments.
About You
Required:
- Two (2) years of transportation construction inspection experience and a High School Diploma.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, measure and calculate quantities, and perform quality control testing on highway materials.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working on PennDOT or Pennsylvania Projects.
- ACI Field Technician Certification, PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification- Concrete or Asphalt, NICET Certification in Heavy Highway Construction and CDS Certifications.
