About the Role
As a Transportation Dispatcher, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers for load pick-ups and deliveries, planning routes, providing rate quotes, and maintaining quality standards. You will also monitor truck routes and statuses, communicate with customers, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a dispatcher or in field service scheduling.
- Understanding of FMCSR and DOT rules and regulations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software.
- Must pass credit and background check.
- Must pass a physical and drug screen.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills.
