About the Role
As a Transportation Driver, you will participate in the implementation of centralized transportation services by driving appropriate CJE vehicles, providing passenger assistance, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during transport. Your responsibilities will include operating vehicle equipment, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with clients and staff.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid State of Illinois driver's license.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
Preferred:
- Paratransit experience.
- Knowledge of service area.
- Ability to work well under stress.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $22.28.
- Part-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
- Dues-paying membership in Service Employees International Union Local 73.
