As a Transportation Generalist - Road Maintenance, you will be responsible for various tasks including roadside maintenance, roadway surface maintenance, traffic control, and snow and ice management. You will work in a dynamic environment, often requiring immediate response to weather conditions and emergencies.
About You
Required:
- One year of experience in snow and ice, soils, road surface maintenance, roadside maintenance, or related activities.
- Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with no Air Brake Restriction and obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with no Air Brake Restriction and Tanker Endorsement within 5 months.
Preferred:
- Successful completion of a Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance Program.
- Working knowledge of English sufficient to communicate effectively with the public and maintain records.
