About the Role
As a Transportation ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern, you will apply general planning and engineering principles to solve specific ITS/Traffic-related problems. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the design and development of plans and drawings for traffic signal design, fiber optic communications, and traffic safety studies. You will also maintain records of technical data, conduct engineering investigations, research design feasibility, and participate in quality control checks.
About You
Required:
- Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
