About the Role

As a Transportation Maintainer 3, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various mechanical equipment, including over-the-fence mowers, for the maintenance of state roadsides, roadways, and bridges. You will also be required to perform emergency duties, including snow and ice removal, and participate in a practicum to demonstrate your skills.

About You

Required:

Two years of experience in construction, landscaping, commercial driving, or maintenance and repair of roadsides, roadways, bridges, or airports.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with tank endorsement.

Preferred:

Experience operating over-the-fence mower safely on interstates and ramps.
Knowledge to make minor repairs on equipment.
Experience with traffic control, curbing repairs, and pothole patching.
