About the Role
As a Transportation Planner, you will conduct planning studies, engage stakeholders, and prepare transportation planning documents. You will work on multimodal transportation systems, transit networks, and sustainable transportation initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and influence transportation planning practices in Florida.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Policy, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in transportation and land use planning, analysis, and studies.
- Demonstrated experience working on transportation projects within FDOT.
- Experience leading PD&E studies or similar environmental planning processes.
- Strong client-facing skills with experience managing transportation planning projects.
Preferred:
- PE, AICP, or ability to obtain.
- Previous experience with FDOT, MPOs, Counties, or Municipal transportation projects.
- Advanced technical writing abilities.
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office applications.
