Orlando Health is seeking a Transporter I - Part Time - 2nd Shift to join their team in Orlando, FL. The role involves transporting patients, equipment, supplies, and lab specimens throughout the hospital facility.
About the Role
As a Transporter I, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient transport of patients and materials within the hospital. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs for transport, maintaining cleanliness of transportation equipment, and communicating vital patient information to team members. You will also assist in cleaning and restocking equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.
About You
Required:
Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
BLS/HealthCare Provider certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred:
Six months of customer service experience or six months of volunteer experience.
