About the Role
As a Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III, you will be responsible for traveling to different healthcare facilities to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on biomedical equipment. Your daily tasks will include installing new equipment, troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, documenting all work performed, and providing training and support to healthcare staff on proper equipment usage.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician.
- Strong knowledge of a variety of biomedical equipment and systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to different locations.
- Must pass background and drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
