About the Role
As a TRAVELING Lineman - Telecom, you will be responsible for all phases of telecommunication construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, and placement of construction materials. You will install and repair aerial telecommunications cable, operate mechanized equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed while working at various locations.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License is REQUIRED.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck up to 40 feet.
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. as needed.
Preferred:
- Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunication industry.
