Summary
Southern Michigan Bank & Trust is seeking a Treasury Sales Officer to join their team in Coldwater, MI. The role involves selling Treasury Services to new and existing customers and increasing the penetration of profitable Treasury Service customers.
About the Role
As a Treasury Sales Officer, you will act as a subject matter expert on Treasury Services, responsible for prospecting, offering, overcoming objections, and closing sales. You will collaborate with Business Development teams, Lenders, and Branch Managers, and perform various sales functions including analyzing client data, preparing proposals, and facilitating service demos for prospective customers.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree and/or 3-5 years of banking experience.
- Basic computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve problems effectively.
- Basic math skills including the ability to calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages.
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM tools for tracking sales processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
