St. Vincent de Paul CARES is seeking a Truck Driver Food Center to join their team in St. Petersburg, FL. The role involves operating and maintaining the Food Center vehicle to pick up food and supplies, serving as an ambassador of goodwill for the organization.
About the Role
As a Truck Driver Food Center, you will be responsible for making appointed rounds to pick up food and supplies, unloading items for transfer to freezers and pantries, logging miles traveled, notifying the Executive Chef of vehicle service needs, and scheduling vehicle maintenance. You will also comply with the Agency’s Transportation Safety Plan and assist in the calculation of donated items.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Florida driver’s license and an excellent driving record for at least three years prior to employment.
Preferred:
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Knowledge of Pinellas county and St. Petersburg area.
