Summary
Platt Electric Supply is seeking a Truck Driver I to join their team in Livermore, CA. The role involves delivering products to/from customers and company locations using a delivery van or box truck.
About the Role
As a Truck Driver I, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the company vehicle, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, loading and unloading materials, completing delivery documentation, and assisting with warehouse duties as needed.
About You
Required:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
Preferred:
- In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic and driver laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
