About the Role
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating trucks to transport grain and other products to designated locations. You will comply with DOT and OSHA regulations, maintain safe driving habits, complete driving logs, and perform vehicle inspections and maintenance. Additionally, you may assist in other areas as needed and work extended hours during busy seasons to ensure customer satisfaction.
About You
Required:
- Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
- Must have or the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
- High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
- Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical every 2 years.
Preferred:
- Experience in customer service and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of the seasonality of the farm supply business.
