About the Role
As a Trust Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for reviewing various tax returns for accuracy and compliance, analyzing estimated tax payments, preparing General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Tax filings, maintaining engagement records, coordinating with clients and vendors, and providing tax consulting services. You will also utilize tax software to improve workflow efficiency and stay current on technical tax issues.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
CPA or Enrolled Agent designation required.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant tax experience, or 3 years with a master's in taxation.
Strong knowledge of income tax provisions.
Preferred:
Master's degree in taxation or MBA.
Experience in retirement, investment, or financial services.
Familiarity with bank systems and tax software.
