About the Role
As a Tutor, you will work one-on-one with youth in the Non-Secure Placement program, helping them develop effective study habits and techniques tailored to their individual strengths and needs. Your responsibilities will include tutoring for standardized exams, assisting with homework and group projects, and collaborating with educational specialists to create tutoring plans. This position requires in-person support and participation in a trauma-sensitive environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience supporting adolescent age youth with academics.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Commitment to a strength-based, youth development and trauma-informed perspective.
