About the Role
The Twister Operator will creel single or double ply yarn packages, load yarn into twisters, reposition buggies of yarn, thread yarn ends, operate spindles, repair breakouts during production, doff twisted yarn packages, monitor production output and machine safety, clean and maintain spindles, perform quality checks using black lights, attend job-related training, follow safety and operating procedures, perform housekeeping duties, and other tasks assigned by management.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of all required on-the-job training
- Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
- Ability to operate in a team-based environment
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
- Ability to read spec sheets or product information
Preferred:
- Previous yarn or manufacturing experience
