Summary
Serco is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join their team supporting the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Norfolk, VA. The role involves testing surface programs and contributing to national security efforts.
About the Role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing acquisition documents, developing test plans, executing operational tests, and analyzing data. You will support the USCG Operational Test Director and work closely with a team to deliver quality test and evaluation products, ensuring mission capability assessments in realistic environments.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least five years of USCG or US Navy operational experience in Surface Platforms, or at least nine years of operational experience in lieu of a degree
- Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Certified Acquisition Professional certificate for Test & Evaluation Manager Level I
- At least three years of experience in developing Integrated Evaluation Frameworks (IEFs), Test Plans, and Final Reports for Operational Testing
- Proficiency in technical writing
- Proficiency with MS-Office software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred:
- Completion of OPTEVFOR Operational Test Director (OTD) Course
