Mueller Water Products is seeking a Territory Manager for the U.S. Pipe Valve & Hydrant product line in the North Central Region, focusing on the upper Midwest including Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Indiana.
About the Role
As a Territory Manager, you will have direct sales responsibility in your assigned territory, primarily targeting distributors. Your role includes promoting new and existing product lines, providing service to the distributor network, conducting product training, establishing sales goals, identifying bid opportunities, and offering after-sale support. You will also participate in trade organizations and provide leadership with sales forecasts.
About You
Required:
A minimum of two (2) years outside sales experience in the water distribution industry or related field.
Aptitude and comfort with selling technology-based sales solutions.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
Ability to routinely travel 75% of work schedule.
Intermediate computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High level of outgoing interpersonal skills and effective communication.
Comfortable with public speaking and delivering presentations to large groups.
Ability to lift in excess of 40 lbs.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or communications-related field.
