About the Role
As a Senior Ultrasonographer, you will work under the supervision of the office manager and registered professional nurse. Your responsibilities include collecting client information, interviewing patients, formulating multidisciplinary care plans, evaluating patient progress, using sonographic equipment, obtaining specimens for testing, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with New York State quality assurance requirements.
About You
Required:
- 2-3 years of hospital or office-based ultrasonographer experience.
- Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current ARDMS registration.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Preferred:
- Qualifications to meet SR level vascular board certification.
- Experience as a student clinical supervisor.
- Advanced sonographer skills.
- Experience in pediatric scanning of baby heads, spines, and other parts.
