About the Role
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting breast ultrasounds, ensuring the quality and accuracy of patient data, and providing compassionate patient care. Your duties will include documenting sonographer's impressions, preparing patients for procedures, and participating in performance improvement projects.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree from an AMA allied health training program in Ultrasound.
- Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by ARDMS or ARRT (must obtain within 2 years).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required prior to direct patient care).
Preferred:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics/Gynecology.
- 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS).
