About the Role
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, documenting findings, and participating in performance improvement projects. You will work under the direction of Radiology leadership and may assist in the education of students and new staff.
About You
Required:
- Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by ARDMS or ARRT (must obtain within 2 years).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required prior to direct patient care).
Preferred:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics/Gynecology.
- Associates degree from an AMA allied health training program in Ultrasound.
- 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
- Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS).
