About the Role

As the Underwriting Director, you will be responsible for assessing medical and financial risks associated with life insurance applications. You will underwrite complex applications, manage a large caseload, and provide training on underwriting topics. The position requires excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach, as you will frequently interact with clients and stakeholders.

About You

Required:

10+ years of life underwriting experience with demonstrated competence in handling larger face amount cases.
Experience with brokerage distribution marketplace.
Required approval authority up to $10,000,000.

Preferred:

FLMI, FALU and/or CLU designations preferred or progress toward these designations.
