About the Role
As a Unit Secretary Neuro/Ortho, you will be responsible for greeting and admitting patients, preparing identification bands, welcoming visitors, managing department mail, scheduling follow-up appointments, and maintaining patient records. You will also facilitate communication between departments and assist with patient transportation as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of administrative or clerical experience.
Preferred:
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or secretarial school.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
