As a Unit Secretary/Nursing Assistant I, you will assist in providing a quality patient experience, which includes greeting patients, answering calls, measuring vital signs, providing personal care, and ensuring effective communication among patients, staff, and visitors. You will also be responsible for maintaining organized records and documentation, reporting changes in patient conditions, and collaborating with various departments to support efficient operations.
About You
Required:
- Completion of state approved Level 1 Nurse Aide training and competency evaluation program or its equivalent.
- Current listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- At least one year in a health care role.
- Ability to learn new software rapidly, knowledge of Epic or EMR is helpful.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
