Summary
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Dean for the College of Pharmacy, a strategic leader ready to drive transformation and innovation in pharmacy education, research, and practice.
About the Role
As the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, you will lead the development of a bold strategic plan, enhance academic program excellence, advance research initiatives, expand graduate programs, ensure financial stewardship, and foster a supportive environment for students and faculty. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to position the College as a national leader in pharmacy education.
About You
Required:
- An earned terminal degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., or equivalent) in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, pharmacy practice, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration.
Preferred:
- Experience in an academic health sciences center environment.
- Experience as a funded researcher and/or building a successful research team.
