About the Role
As a Unix System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of all Linux/Unix servers, supporting critical applications and services. Your daily tasks will include installing and configuring Linux operating systems, applying system patches and upgrades, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will also automate routine tasks using scripting languages and develop disaster recovery plans.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience as a Linux/Unix Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Experience with system security measures, including user permissions and access controls.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Experience in system integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
