Summary
Samsung Semiconductor is seeking a UPW Engineering Technical Lead to join their team in Taylor, TX. The role involves leading the Ultra Pure Water engineering team to ensure operational sustainability and environmental stewardship.
About the Role
As the Technical Lead of the UPW Engineering team, you will review engineering deliverables, promote a safe work environment, monitor system performance, provide oversight for operations, evaluate process requirements, mentor team members, and lead innovation in water treatment technologies.
About You
Required:
- M.S or B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Process or Industrial Engineering or commensurate experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a process engineering environment.
- 5+ years in UPW.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows based applications.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience in guiding and mentoring engineers within a facilities environment.
- Design, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up experience.
- 12+ years of experience in a Facilities, Engineering and/or Project Management environment.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand, repair, and optimize industrial process systems.
- Computer programming experience.
- PE license.
- Project Management experience (PMP).
