About You
- Master's degree and appropriate certification (NCCPA for Physician Assistants; ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioners).
- Minimum of 2 years full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
- Licensed in the state of Connecticut as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN or FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfortable performing minor procedures such as sutures, casts, splints, and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
- Experience working in a fast-paced urgent care or emergency room setting.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system and integrated healthcare networks.
- Ability to work autonomously with mentoring and support as needed.
